Foster Grand-Parents

If you’re 55+, living on a modest income* and want to share your experience and compassion, you may have what it takes to be a Foster Grandparent Volunteer. Clackamas County Children’s Commission partners with the Foster Grandparent Program to provide mentors and helpers for preschool children in Head Start programs around the county.

Foster Grandparents receive: training, ongoing support, a non-taxable hourly stipend plus a meal and transportation support when they volunteer 15 hours/week.
